What are kiln dried logs? +

This means they have been force dried in a kiln to remove excess moisture, ensuring a consistently dry product.

What are the benefits of Kiln dried? +

By using our purpose built kiln, we can guarantee that all our logs are dried to below 20% moisture content. Burning wood with less moisture means you are not wasting energy removing excess moisture from the log as it burns. This gives you a clean efficient burn, ensuring you get maximum heat output & higher calorific value in every log.
Simply, this means less fuel used & more heat!

How sustainable is Kiln Dried? +

Zero waste. We fuel our Kiln by with waste wood from our production process. All our firewood is BSL approved, meaning we can trace & prove the sustainability of our products across the whole production process. From Forest to Fireplace we can ensure full traceability.

Is there a delivery charge? +

We offer free delivery within Pembrokeshire. We are happy to deliver further than Pembrokeshire, please contact us for more information.

Where does our wood come from? +

All our timber is sourced from sustainably managed woodlands within West Wales, most of which is harvested by ourselves.

Hardwood vs Softwood +

Our Hardwood logs typically contain a mix of Ash, Beech & Oak, which are long lasting and provide excellent heat output.
Our Softwood logs are a cost effective option to Hardwood. A mixture of Larch, Spruce & Douglas Fir, which give a great heat output but are not suitable for open fires.
